I found the Hotel was well placed in relation to seeing the City and getting around, comfortable and offered a good value Breakfast. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
The room was a little dated and the carpet probably needed cleaning or replacing

Very friendly staff, able to help or change things as You want them to have. Wi-Fi in the room, very easy to install wit pin from reception desk; breakfast abondant as a buffet; clean rooms, bed ok, pillow fine, old decor but for 2-3 nights is ok for the money. Public Parking directly in front of the house, bus to the city and airport. In 10 minutes walking You are on the Piotrkowska Street.
I did not like first room I`ve got: with thie view on the back side of building; if you are not smoker ask for not smokers room. The building is ugly from outside, but ok and clean inside.

Once you get over the post-communist decor (which is part of the charm really), and the slightly less upmarket location, it's a decent hotel, with friendly staff (not all who speak English, but we managed in basic German/Polish) it's a good hotel, excellent breakfast, clean, comfortable and within walking distance of the main areas of Lodz. We didnt' try the restaurant, but judging by the breakfast, I would expect the food to be good.
